O2Low treatment is a Controlled Atmosphere application protocol accepted all over the world. The system protocol meets the required conditions in the room (temperature, gas composition, humidity, etc.) and keeps the conditions under control by maintaining them throughout the process.

How long do O2Low applications take?

However, each application takes approximately 9-12 days, depending on all operational processes and especially temperature loading.

It is possible to avoid long application times by continuously operating with more than one room according to the need and demand. In this way, the length of time is not a problem in practice and the system tonnage capacities can be increased to the needs of the facility.

Another issue to be considered in practice is to prevent recontamination of processed products. It is possible to solve this situation by making some improvements in the facility and to control it with a design that includes the separation of clean and contaminated areas.

Is the treatment able to kill every insect in the product by providing 100% purification?

It is very important to know which insect is being fought with the application. The protocol to be applied to every insect may not be the same. However, no matter what insect it has developed resistance to which chemical, it is not possible for any insect to survive and reproduce in the treatment room after proper O2Low application protocols are followed! With the application, 100% purification from insects is provided.

Is the O2Low application an organic application?

Since O2Low application is not made with any toxic gas, there is no harm to human health or the environment. It keeps the oxygen in the air with the oxygen scrubber, gives nitrogen to the room with very high purity, and in this way, the oxygen reduction process of the application is made. There is no waste gas. At the end of the process, the air released from the room to the atmosphere mixes with its former form within seconds and turns into normal air.
